Eric Kinoti

Eric,  is a  Founder and Director and Head of Tax Services at  TruQuantum Consulting . He has over 16 years of accounting, finance and tax advisory and compliance experience gained while working for International Development Center for Africa (IDCA), CFAO Automotive (Dt. Dobie & Co. (K) Ltd), Noteric General Merchants (Founder), Barclays Bank of Kenya and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Eric has been involved in both direct and indirect tax assignments covering various sectors of the economy including, energy, manufacturing, financial services and the government sectors.

He has experience in Corporate Income Tax, Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE), Withholding Taxes, Value Added Tax (VAT), Excise Duty and Customs Duty. He has been involved in carrying out various tax diagnostic checks as well as tax technical support during KRA audits and investigations including preparation of appeals, objections and applications for waiver of penalties and interest and other submissions to KRA. He has provided appeals support to clients at the Tax Appeals Tribunal.

He has also assisted start-ups, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises set up operation by ensuring tax compliance and tax efficiency in their operations.

Publications

He has also been involved in preparing publications such as the PwC East Africa Tax Guide for financial years 2010-2014.
